The JRA is itself a Founder Member of the Friends of Jesmond Library.
The library is now open for browsing, book borrowing, newspapers coffee, children’s aea as well as People’s Network computers, printing and photcopying.

Friday: 9:30am – 12:30pm
Saturday: 9.30am to 4:30pm
Sunday: Closed
Anyone is most welcome to pop in and look around, and talk to the volunteers about the facilities available.
Jesmond Library relies completely on volunteers to staff and manage the building. Over 100 people already help in one way or another. If you have any time to spare, pop in and find out about how to sign up as a volunteer. It’s enjoyable and a great way of contributing to Jesmond life.
